0 star for parking. It is horrible. Forget about finding a parking spot ( even if you have a parking permit ) after 8 pm. You will have to run around the whole property and you still would struggle to find a parking spot. The management is aware and still turns a blind eye to it. Don't even think about renting here if you have a car. The apartments are nice but they are not properly insulated. During the colder months, chilled air creeps in through the windows. Be prepared to wear warm clothing inside the apartment.

Living at this complex was the worst decision of my college career. Rent is astronomically high, even for the area, and the actual units do not reflect this high price. They are poorly maintained, along with the rest of the facility. I suggest finding another place to do laundry, since the price for wash and dry if you don't have machines in your room is high. The machines also do not work majority of the time. Do not be fooled by the leasing office staff's assurances that everything will be "taken care of." My roommates and I were promised free utilities: nope, slapped with an extra charge. We were promised parking: past 8pm there are no spots and the local police patrol the area, constantly giving tickets if you aren't in one. Clearly they give out more passes than they have spots for. The clientele for the place is irresponsible, party-loving, college students with little regards for respect. Your car will be hit, the noise will often be unbearable, and you will not enjoy your time here. There are much better options, both in value and quality, elsewhere.

Home Properties of Bryn Mawr are decent apartments, and the prices are about on par with most other properties in the area of a similar quality. There are lots of trees and green grass, making it a pleasant experience walking around the complex. Many units, including mine, have newer ovens, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Hardwood floors are a plus as well. Some units have washer and dryer in unit, which I would recommend (even though it takes up most of the closet space) because the on site washers and dryers that must be paid for are often busy or broken. I have made a handful of requests for maintenance and have always had someone out within 24 hours. The management does a good job as well. The complex is very well kept. The swimming pool and fitness center on-site are nice pluses as well. The biggest negative aspect of these apartments are the residents. During the summer, it is quite nice - many units sit empty, and it is easy to find a parking spot next to your apartment, go for a swim with just you and your friends, etc. From September - May, however, a majority of the residents are WASPy Villanova students, who often leave trash scattered around outside, and can be quite noisy well into the morning. The overabundance of these people also makes getting a regular parking spot in the evening very difficult, despite paying a fee for parking (which can't be taken off even if you do not drive). If you use public transport, the high speed line is on the property, so that is a big plus if you need to go into the city.
